August- Back to School Party

Before Alice started Kindergarten, we invited several Kindergartners over for a little Back to School bash. I had so much fun planning the party, and it gave me an outlet for all my anxiety about her starting school. Here are the invitations...

The kids had a great time playing in the back yard, especially with the rocket balloons. I had a ton of games planned, but we never got to them!

Lunch was served outside, and on the menu: sandwiches cut into shapes, carrots, applesauce, cheese and fruit kabobs all served in a pencil box!



And for dessert: chocolate and pretzel crayons- A HUGE hit!

It was so much fun, I'm considering making this an annual event. We'll see how long Alice thinks it's a good idea!
