Down On The Farm

My Triathlon has been over for a month now and our vacation is over too, so there should be no more excuses for not posting. We've done so many fun activities I could post about, but I think we'll just keep moving foward.

We are members of a co-op that provides us with a box of fresh organic fruits and vegetables each week for 25 weeks during the summer. Today was our day to pick up the veggies from the farm. Alice went with me. She was not excited about the long drive there, but was very excited to see the farm. After we loaded up all the boxes, we had a little while to look around. She got to see garlic hanging in the barn, smell herbs, and take a peek in the greenhouse, but she was most impressed with the tractors.

On the way home, Alice asked to eat the cherry tomatoes and asked me if we had to wash them first. She was thrilled when I said "no, just eat them right out of the box." It's so nice to not have to worry about what's going in to her little body!
